After receiving the first sample, it was immediately clear to our test anglers that DAIWA had succeeded in creating a real exceptional bait with the construction of the new Duckfin Live Shads – numerous pike and perch were caught with this bait during the first short tests – the EFTTEX Award 2015 for the best rubber fish for the new season 2016 has further confirmed this impression.
The available size range of 10cm, 15cm and 20cm covers almost all areas of application for normal soft lure angling for pike, pikeperch and perch – and even when fishing in Norway we were able to outsmart numerous cod and coalfish with the 20cm version – The Live Shad offers an almost unlimited field of application possibilities – even on the towing system this bait cuts a very good figure and almost catches on order! The body design is based on the realistic shape of an arbor – the favorite prey of pikeperch and perch! The Duckfin Live Shad tilts from right to left even at low speed and lights up the flanks! The color design from subtle to bright offers the right model for almost any water color – and especially the natural designs (brown trout, rainbow trout, roach, perch and pike), which are applied to the rubber using a new and complex printing technology, were not previously in this realistic form available on the market – the new Duckfin Live Shad – a real exceptional bait that catches fish everywhere.
