The model with a test curve of 4.0lbs is designed for long-distance fishing in very large bodies of water. The strong backbone enables pressure to be exerted during the fight even at very long distances and the line to be picked up in a controlled manner until you have approached the fish.
The 3.0lbs model comes with a 40mm starter ring, the 4.0lbs model with equipped with a 50mm starter ring.
